Celebrity’s Edge-series ships use art, architecture and sea views to create an upscale resort feeling. Pools, lounges and wellness spaces invite slower days. Earlier ship classes may be more traditional, often at attractive fares. Royal Caribbean’s fare includes the cabin, complimentary dining, most entertainment and many activities, while beverages, Wi-Fi, gratuities, excursions, specialty restaurants and certain experiences may be additional. Celebrity cruise-only rates similarly cover accommodations, most meals and most entertainment but generally exclude drinks, Wi-Fi and tips; eligible All Included rates add specified drinks and Wi-Fi.
Compare total vacation cost with the same cabin standard. A Celebrity veranda and a Royal Caribbean balcony may not offer equivalent space, amenities or atmosphere. Add every likely extra and place value on what you will use.
