Celebrity Xcel is the fifth Edge-series ship and the newest expression of Celebrity’s design-forward premium style. It blends established Edge features with destination-inspired food and entertainment, aiming more at couples and experience-focused adults than families seeking amusement-park attractions.

What Xcel Adds

The Bazaar changes its food, performances, and atmosphere around the regions being visited, giving the destination a stronger onboard presence. Bora provides open-air rooftop dining, while the Rooftop Garden, Resort Deck, Grand Plaza, Magic Carpet, and Eden retain the architectural identity of the Edge series.

Dining, Entertainment, and Cabins

Celebrity emphasizes restaurants, cocktails, art, wellness, and production shows rather than waterslides. Dining spans included restaurants and an extensive specialty collection; suite guests receive Luminae and private Retreat facilities.

Cabins include ocean views, traditional balconies in selected categories, Infinite Verandas, AquaClass, and suites. An Infinite Veranda brings the window into the room instead of providing a conventional step-out balcony. Some guests love the added interior space; others strongly prefer a separate outdoor balcony, so understand the design before booking.

Xcel suits couples, food lovers, design-conscious travelers, and adults wanting an elevated atmosphere without ultra-luxury formality. Families are welcome, but children who need large-scale attractions may prefer another line.
