Overview
Is Seabourn right for you?
Seabourn delivers ultra-luxury at an intimate scale — its ships carry only around 450–600 guests with a nearly one-to-one staff ratio, so service becomes genuinely personal (crew learn your name and preferences fast). Suites are all-ocean-view, most with verandas, and the fare includes premium spirits and wines, gratuities and a country-club-casual atmosphere that’s refined but never stuffy. Signature touches include the fold-out Marina watersports platform, caviar in the surf, and partnerships with chef Thomas Keller. Newer expedition ships add submarines and Zodiacs for polar and remote sailing.

Sweet spot
Veranda Suites offer the classic Seabourn experience; Penthouse suites add more space and perks.
Expedition
On Venture/Pursuit, ask about the submarine experience — a rare, unforgettable add-on.
Dining
Dining is a highlight and entirely included: The Restaurant for elegant multi-course dinners, The Colonnade for relaxed indoor/outdoor meals, the poolside Patio, and The Grill by Thomas Keller — a genuine fine-dining collaboration. Add complimentary in-suite dining course by course, and the famous “caviar in the surf” beach events. Premium wines and spirits flow freely throughout.
Entertainment
Scaled to the intimate size: talented small-cast performers, live music in elegant lounges, guest speakers via Seabourn Conversations, and marquee cultural partnerships. Signature experiences — the Marina watersports day, beach barbecues, an evening “Caviar in the Surf” — matter more than big shows.

Seabourn FAQs
Scale and intimacy. With only ~450–600 guests and a near 1:1 crew ratio, Seabourn feels like a private yacht where the staff know you personally. You trade waterslides and big theaters for personal service, boutique ports and refined, all-included living.
Nearly — premium spirits and wines, all dining, gratuities and most onboard experiences are included. Shore excursions and the spa are typically extra. It’s among the most inclusive luxury lines without being quite as all-in as Regent on excursions.
It’s “elegant casual” with a couple of optional formal-ish evenings on longer voyages. The tone is polished but relaxed — refined without the stiffness some expect from ultra-luxury.
